Guiding Principles
Optimum Companies was founded in 1985 by John and Dorothy Martin.
Three years later, in 1988, operating out of their basement with six employees, it was a little crowded. Semi trucks were delivering supplies to their home. The neighbors started complaining, and John and Dorothy knew they had officially outgrown the home business.
Today, Optimum employs around 60 people and generates $12 million in sales per year by providing service to a national client base of 1,500 community banks and Central Ohio companies.
